The MFT Stallion Tour: Bringing stallion owners, mare owners, and those who love the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse together.
The Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Stallion Tour is a unique marketing program that offers stallion owners two years of marketing exposure and helps mare owners from around the world locate the perfect stallion for their breeding program. Unlike any other program available in the breed, the Stallion Tour offers an affordable way for stallion owners to showcase their horses.
More than just the popular MFT Stallion Tour Live Event, the MFT Stallion Tour is a two-year marketing program for stallion owners that offers premier exposure through the MFT Stallion Tour website – giving mare owners consistent, ready access to information on potential breeding stallions around the world.
“The Stallion Tour Live Event continues to be incredibly popular with mare owners and Missouri Fox Trotting Horse enthusiasts who want to see the breed’s top stallions up close and personal,” shared Amy Stangl, Stallion Tour Committee Chairman. “However, whether mare owners attend the live event or not, the Stallion Tour website and Facebook page have become an excellent resource in helping them find consistent, quality information in one spot.”
Featured Stallions
To be included in the Stallion Tour, participating stallions pay an entry fee once every two years. This current Stallion Tour cycle started in January 2017. In addition to the $150 entry fee, stallions commit to providing the Tour pictures and information on their stallion as well as participating in the Stallion Tour Live Event which will be held on October 21, 2017. Stallions housed more than 300 miles from a Tour Stop, may participate in the Tour through video.
In return, stallion owners receive a comprehensive marketing program for their stallion, which includes social media posts, an individual page on the MFT Stallion Tour website, custom video to help promote their stallion, solo exhibition by video or in person at the MFT Stallion Tour Live Event, inclusion in print advertising, and much more. To further the participating stallion’s exposure, the MFT Stallion Tour recently partnered with the Let’s Go Foxtrot website. Through this partnership, MFT Stallion Tour stallions will be included on the Let’s Go Foxtrot website with the MFT Stallion Tour logo.
