L.D. Dampier's Sale - Gateway to Spring

The 3rd of April will mark the 27th Annual Production and Consignment sale for L.D. Dampier and family. The Dampier sale has been a first sign and rite of Spring for foxtrotter enthusiasts of all kinds since its inception. More than just a sale, L.D.'s is the first time many friends, competitors and acquaintances will meet since last year's Celebration. The alleyways are a breeding ground for rumors of the next great show prospect hitting the ring and the successes and failures of the winter's conquests. If this isn't enough to get you to Lebanon the first weekend of April, you will be glad to know that several nice horses will be sold as well. Buyers from all over the nation make the pilgrimage to SW Missouri each spring to peruse L.D.'s wares, many who have made the same trip for years. Their is always a great selection of trail horses and, on a more than rare occasion, you can pick up a worthwhile prospect for the show ring. There will be a horse of every size, color, breeding and function and a seller who will be more than willing to share its particulars.
